This project is being developed by Elder Frank Bailey. About 20 years ago, I started a mini Christian youth center out of my home called The Gathering Place. That chapter of my life has since closed, but the calling to make a difference still remains. Since then, I've worked as a youth leader at my church, and have been employed in various capacities working with youth. For the past 10 years, I've been working as a math teacher, and see on a daily basis that they need serious intervention, both naturally and spiritually. 

I realize that most youth organizations are funded by big donors or grants, but I believe that in a borough of over 2 million people, there must be enough of us who see what's going on with our youth, and care enough to share a small portion of what God has blessed us with to make a difference in their lives.
